Great Yarmouth’s historic Venetian Waterways, boating lake and cafe have stood the test of time for nearly 100 years, as one of the region’s most prestigious free outdoor attractions, just off the town’s Golden Mile. Rejuvenated in 2019 with support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the stunning site stretches over seven acres and comprises of spectacular ornamental gardens, winding canals and a pristine boating lake, where families can hire boats or pedalos by the hour. If taking to the water is not your thing, there is always a friendly welcome waiting from the lovingly restored sunken island cafe in the centre of the boating lake.
