RAJA THE SUMATRAN TIGER ARRIVES AT THRIGBY HALL WILDLIFE GARDENS
Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens is thrilled to announce the arrival of Raja, a magnificent two-year-old male Sumatran Tiger who has travelled from Frankfurt Zoo in Germany to join us here in Norfolk.
Raja's move is part of the global species management programme for Sumatran Tigers, a critically endangered species with fewer than 400 individuals left in the wild. His arrival marks a significant step in the continued efforts to protect and conserve this iconic species.
Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, near Great Yarmouth have 250-year-old landscaped gardens, play areas and superb willow pattern garden.
Renowned for its collection of Asian Mammals, birds and reptiles in the pleasantly landscaped grounds and gardens of Thrigby Hall.
Attractions for all age groups includes our brand new addition Raja the Tiger, Snow Leopards, rare tigers, gibbons, deer otters, crocodiles in a swamp house, avaries, waterfowl, gift shop & cafe. Tropical & forest houses give good all-weather cover.
There are several play areas for children and parking is free.
Cockatoo Cafe. The cafe serves a range of hot and cold food, including; jacket potatoes with various fillings, sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes and snacks. There is food that is suitable for all age ranges and many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available. We also sell a range of hot and cold drinks and ice creams
