Starting point: Welcome to Gorleston sign on Gorleston Promenade near the Pier Hotel.

Length of walk: Approx 90 minutes

Booking is essential. Please note booking and payments are currently taken separately. Follow the steps below.

1) Email us to book your place
(for an 11am start, book by 4pm the day before, for a 2pm start, book by 11am)
On your booking email, don't forget to enter the number of adult and child tickets required, the date of the walk you would like to join, the names required for the tickets, a contact telephone number and to answer our Covid related questions.

2) Pay online using Great Yarmouth Borough Council's website. 
Follow the link, choose Tourism bookings, Tourism Heritage Walks and complete your details.

3) Once we've received your booking email and payment of your tickets, your tickets will be sent via email

4) Arrive 15 minutes before the start time of your chosen walk. Show your ticket (on a mobile or a print out) to the Guide, remember to follow social distancing guidelines & enjoy!

Great Yarmouth's sister town of Gorleston-on-Sea has a fascinating heritage all of its own. Situated south of Great Yarmouth at the mouth of the river Yare, its beautiful promenade is the starting point for a guided walk filled with local history and stories.
