The Chateau by MPH Holidays is an independent, family owned and family run guest house. Our mission is to create affordable luxury for our customers and the satisfaction of our customers is our number one priority. Our family bought the hotel in March 2025 and are bringing the building and each room, both individual and communal to a high standard for our customers to enjoy. Our aim is to make our customers feel immediate warmth and hospitality from the moment they arrive. From our uniquely decorated rooms, creating a home away from home, to our cozy bar and cafe, each aspect of our guest house is made to feel comfortable and relaxing. Each room is elegantly furnished, ensuring that your stay with us is truly memorable. The Chateau guest house is a historic establishment with a rich past. The building itself dates back to the late 19th century and was originally constructed as a private residence. The building showcases the beautiful architectural style of its era. We only use a minimum of 400 thread count white bed linen and luxurious white fluffy bath sheets to ensure comfort, style and luxury for our customers. You are invited to join us in the dining room for your breakfast (all included in your booking price) - choose from our extensive menu. The Chateau by MPH Holidays is a three minute walk into the beating heart of Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile, Great Yarmouth is a seaside town steeped in history and alive with the buzz of family holidays, laughter and memories being made. The funfair (Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach and for smaller guests Joyland, the Sea Life centre. mini golf centres, the 2 piers and the Hippodrome Circus all promise days of enjoyment and family fun. That being said The Chateau sits on a peaceful tranquil side of town and is a 30 second walk across to a pristine beach with golden sands and tranquil views and waters. To the left of the chateau is the Venetian Waterways attraction which is free and can take around 2 hours to walk around and enjoy a drink or light refreshment at one the cafes or beachside restaurants along the way. Great Yarmouth is uniquely located where the sea meets the Broads, Britain's newest National Park. Escape inland for wide open skies, beautiful rolling Norfolk countryside and the famous Broads, perfect for water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding or canoeing and where day boats can be hired.
